Default need to ask for a variation

I need to write to Ofsted to ask for a variation From march
I care for J part time and will be caring for J baby brother part time
    as of March.

I have finally had another enquiry (been waiting weeks to fill my
vacancy) about the care of 2 siblings she is unsure if its part time or
full time as she is waiting to hear her hours (she has def got the job
cos she will work with j's mum)

She wants me to care for two children ages 3.5 and 10 months it may
overlap on all the days or may just overlap by one or 2 days.

    In all i will have E 6 months, J 3 years, H 1 year, B 3.5 years.
I do not care for any other children only have my own 7 yr old daughter.

J and the 3.5 yr old will be at pre school every morning. I know i will
cope on outings (i dont drive) as the two older ones will walk holding
on to the side and the 2 young ones in the double buggy and indoors i have all the relevent highchairs and booster seats.

Anyone have any ideas on how i can word it professionally?

Would it cause problems cos i live in a flat?

    Thanks

    Jo

ohhh well sarah best for this one hun
but when i asked for my variation i said it was for full 5 days full time.
no point asking to change days and times on different variations, as parents needs can also change.

keep it simple state that a local parent needs your service for ,,,ages,,,
state how this will breach your registration and that you want to accomodate the parents needs, shortage of care in your area or something like that,,

i telephoned first and asked what details they needed and if need to include the parents details etc so ofsted could ring and confirm this with parents before visit.

list how you will meet the requirements for each individual child and support all concerned, how many toys, pram, high chair etc you will have ready in
preparation if you are granted the variation,

good luck show ofsted just how gr8 you are x

If you speak to Ofsted they will send you a 4u5 variation grid which you can fill out for the times and days you will be looking after the children.
