    Default Actions from ofsted

I've had 2 actions that need returning ASAP, I'm not too sure on what to return?
One is that children are usually within your sight and hearing and always within sight or hearing.
Other is ensure you take all necessary steps to keep children safe and well, including meeting individual needs and supporting their emotional well being.
What do I need to return, don't know how to word it..
    TIA

Sorry, not sure of the circumstances behind this request. Is it following an OfSTED inspection- do you therefore need to give them an action plan?
Perhaps you could ring them and clarify what you need to return?

Have you recently had an inspection after a complaint was made or was this just things the inspector observed whilst doing a standard inspection? Maybe just send them a couple of paragraphs from an updated policy or risk assessment you have changed to show that you have taken on board their comments "actions" and have amended the way you do things.

I think you might just say that you have updated your risk assessments to ensure children are always in your sight / hearing ...

I don't know the background to the other one - just focus on what the inspector said s/he found and how you have improved.

Use normal language you don't need to say anything special xx

Yes it's following a complaint, thanks for your help, didn't even think about risk assessments!
The 2 nd one is because I didn't pick up a child who was throwing a tantrum (he bites, pinches & head bangs) they have concerns that I'm not meeting the needs of the child.

Then you need to consider how you manage behaviour and what you do to support a child who is having a tantrum ...

And how you will record it on a physical intervention record form if you do restrain a child.

Free physical intervention - and other - forms here - http://www.childcare.co.uk/informati...dminding-forms.
