Default HELP!!! Inspection on Friday and First aid has run out!

Help help help!! I have just found out I hve my first inspection on Friday (after waiting over 3 years for it!!!) and my First Aid Certificate ran out. I am booked on a course in 3 weeks time (the first I could find a few weeks ago when I realised). Is this going to be enough to keep ofsted happy or am I going to have to stop minding?!

Inform Ofsted straight away, see what they say.

As it's a condition of registration you should not be childminding without a valid first aid certificate.

Not a nice position to be in. If you have no first aid certificate you also have no valid insurance so can't work.-that's what Ofsted told me a couple of years ago. Of course, you may get a different answer but would suggest if they say it's ok you will need that in writing so they can't change their minds again !
