    Default Mumps

I have just heard that one of my little ones is in hospital with mumps. It isn't too bad and she is coming home later but was taken in for tests as they weren't sure what it was. She is too young to have had her jabs - appt for them next week!

As it is notifiable I know to tell Ofsted but do I give her personal details or just "a child in my setting..." and as the hospital have diagnosed mumps will they have told the HPA already or do I do this? Sorry not had one of these before.

    Many thanks

I would ask advice from Ofsted - see what they want you to do. Better ring and be told 'go away' then not ring and be in trouble for getting it wrong.

i hope the little one is ok and none of you get ill. Hugs xx
