Default How long from pre-registration visit to get certificate?

I had my pre-registration visit nearly 2 weeks ago, and she said she was recommending my application, another department reviews her report before saying yes but she couldn't see there would be any problem, and that I should get a letter or certificate in about a week.
I called Ofsted this mornign and they didn't even have a record of the inspection visit taking place, and when I said it had they said they were waiting for the inspector to upload the report.
Any ideas how long this normally takes? When should I chase them up again!?
I was hoping to start advertising before Christmas but obviously can't until I have my certificate and insurance.
    Thanks

    Hi

You can start advertising, but you cannot start minding until your certificate comes.

You need not get your insurance until you have mindees lined up or you are paying when you have no children
