wow you guys were lucky! I started working with a co minder 1 week before our inspection we werent told til a day before she was coming, We had both been registered since sept this was may Id just left a job at a nursery to mind full time we had 4 mindees in and she took my co minder out of the living room every 10 mins so she could show her bits of our paperwork so I was left with 4 mindees under 3 she was with us 6 and a half hours and we only got a satisfactory grade as we had put permission insted of consent on our medicine forms even tho these were from our insurance company, she moaned that we hadnt done a sef even tho its not compulsory AND even said if we had got another inspector we would have been graded higher as she never gave more than satisfactory on a first inspection! so even tho we meet all the criteria to take funded children as we didnt get a good we cant take them and have lost 4 children because of it !

Think I would be appealing against the grading/inspection

Another thread has just made think of this. The inspector made sure that any recommendations/actions from my previous report had been put into place and were working
