    Default Stuck on an interest

I have a mindee (age 3years, 3 months) She came back after christmas break having seen a Cbeebies programme called Octonauts. It is here our underwater/fishy interest started.

I have followed and supported it and am now ready to move on... but LO isn't

Really struggling where to take it from here - I need a branch-line to try to steer her to something new. But all she talks about are Vampire Squids (yes they really exist) and all she paints are Kelp Forests

    Any ideas

She'll move on when she's ready.

All you can do is offer other things and see if she takes an interest.

    Vampire squids sound ghastly!

Awww how cute! lol Like Miffy said she will move on when she's ready but in the meantime how about introducing some boats to water play with fish...if she likes boats that can lead onto transport etc...or maybe what lives on top of the water? Ducks?? Moving onto animals etc....springtime chicks! xx
