Help with PLODS
Hi I'm relatively new to childminding and I am just finishing up writing a PLODS for a child but I'm not sure what 'what changes to relationships might be made to support me' and 'what changes might be made to my environment to enhance my learning' I could use. If anyone has an overview of ideas that could help me. (Child is 15 months). Thanks

Those 2 statements relate to the Development Matters guidance - you should have a copy - there are 3 columns -
Unique child - which tells you what a child might be doing at different ages
Positive relationships - which gives you ideas for enhancing relationships eg sharing information with parents, involving nursery etc.
Enabling environments - which gives you ideas for changing the environment or resources to better suit a child eg planning an outing, buying something new, moving toys around etc.
You do NOT need to use those 2 columns every time you write a next step / individual plan / PLOD - only if you find them useful.

Help...what does PLODS stand for? not used in my LA
I assume there is planning, observations, learning, development in there?
Dear me...why can't we have a universal language in the EYFS?
