Mindee 18.5 months old matches parts of objects that fit together (containers and lids)

UTW 16-26

BUT

what can I put as next steps? DM not helping ?

Talk about the colours and shapes, give him thing to put in the pots and shake to make sounds.

Link to shapes matches shapes, give him different shapes, (shape sorters, puzzles etc) to match.

Start playing picture lotto, matching board puzzle pieces where the picture is repeated underneath. And if they are any good at matching up odd socks, can I borrow your mindee please!
