Role play ideas

Hi all

I am looking for ideas/suggestions for a role play activity. I have a mix of 2/3 year olds but want to do more role play. ideas linked to maybe trains, bus or plane. In the past I have had older pre schoolers 3.5/4 years, so it was easier to do more literacy based such as making tickets, worksheets and lots of writing etc... And they 'get' what we're doing. Last year I set up an airport for example. I have a visit from my Development Officer and would quit like to show something along these lines. This time my children are younger but I just wondered if anyone has managed to do something similar and what ideas you may have.

So what ideas can you suggest linked to role play and transport for 2.5/3 year olds. Many Thanks.

Airport
Car wash (is good for their age)
Train Eurostar going to a place?
Wheels on bus
Tour bus can make little city's to visit
Plane ride with different country's/ flags that you can land on ?

What about the following:

Stamping passports
Checking in luggage
Setting up a pretend plane with one at the front on the chair with a hat and the rest in seats behind
One as an air hostess with a trolley or bringing drinks around
Collecting tickets/checking tickets
Buying tickets for different destinations

Have fun sounds like a great idea.
