HELP! observations and planning

Hi everyone, ive just started minding and really need help on the basics of observing, evidence recording and planning...my heads in a spin with the information Im reading..

Hi Jo, look in the free downloads in the free resources. Theres loads of stuff in there to help with this and so much more. Look out for Sarah707, her guidance notes are a godsend. hth x

Hi Jo and welcome to the mad world of childminding. Yes, look out for Sarah and have a look at the downloads. Also have a wander around the forum you will get loads of tips from other threads.

Do you not have a local childminder drop in near to you, ask at your local childrens centre.

Everyone on here is so helpful, ask anything and someone will come along and help.

Hi Jo. I'm in pretty much the same situation as you! Every time I think I know what I'm doing, something else comes along to confuse me all over again. I'm sure we'll get there eventually. What I have learnt is not to panic and don't try to do everything straightaway, it takes a while to get to know the children. Good luck!
