Make foods from different cultures to try.

Set up a dramatic play area to depict a restaurant.

Make a collage or a special placemat by cutting out pictures of food from magazines.

Make necklaces out of colored noodles / pasta

We're going to make pasta necklaces this afternoon!

Looks like I picked the right day to munch my way though a bag of Australian liquorice then!
