    Default Chatterbox Challenge 2014

Apologies if this has been posted already...I did search but nothing came up...

I stumbled across this site earlier and I have registered my setting...

Thought it sounded good...you can download certificates for all little ones who take part, song sheets, info letters for parents and other bits and bobs!!

Chatterbox Challenge is the annual, educational fundraiser for 0-5 year olds that Makes Chatter Matter. Children have great fun developing their own communication skills whilst raising money to help children across the UK who are struggling to communicate.

You can take part as a nursery, pre-school, playgroup, primary school, as a childminder or parent, or in any other Early Years setting.

Chatterbox Challenge Week is February 10-16 but you can hold your event
    at any time.

Did anybody do this? I registered, received my pack, prepared some activities...

Then my one and only mindee was ill and off all week.

Will be doing something at a later date instead.

Thank you so much for this! My 2 1/2 year old mindee has delayed speech and I've been working with his pre-school with ICAN resources so this will be great!

I did it last week with my mindees as some away next week for half term but I think you can do it when ever you like - I think everyone enjoyed listening to me singing the songs, 5 out of my 7 mindees were a bit too young but they picked up odd words and learnt some actions. I found it strange though that Chatterbox challenge included "sleeping bunnies" the children are used to the parents and carers singing this to them while they are pretending to be asleep! I typed up all the words so the parents could practise the songs at home too - I put on my poster that I was aiming to raise £30 but I think we will be over that.
