Tracing lines and worksheets
Just came across this site with some great tracing lines and worksheets for pre-schoolers (and other ages). Don't know if anyone has come across this before, or shared it... but here it is anyway

lol I ran out of ink good job I had another one. I have had to create a new folder and downloaded loads of them. I am quite pleased with my little find, been looking for something like this for ages for my 6 year old as he keeps getting certain number and letters mixed up and back to front so hopefully this will help lol

Thankyou for sharing this, it will be useful for my 8yr old who has DCD and we are really struggling with his handwriting

Could be wrong but a development officer told me we weren't supposed to use these for our EYFS children.
Not quite sure of the details, mabe a clever person can explain better...

Now I'm not claiming to be clever, but I think it's because if the child is left to trace without help then they learn how to draw the letters all wrong - and then that can be hard to unlearn afterwards, if you see what I mean - for children that like tracing, another idea is to give them an outline and a large handled push pin and they can make little holes all the way around the shape and then push it out of the piece of paper - great for devloping co-ordination and fine motor control too!
