ME invited into nursery

Its such a good school and nursery but wow ive been invited to spend time with manager to go through child's profile!!!!!

the mindee is leaving next month and going to a different school in sept, so nursery manager has asked if i would like to be involved in the final completion of the profile pack

at last i feel like a real practitioner not just a baby sitter

it started because i said it was a shame that every setting a child attends has a separate profile/diary/obs/plans ohhh etc etc etc and it would be nice to have just one that we all share..

so ive been invited to share my knowledge of the child and i feel special and it will be good to see how the nursery do their obs and next steps ( i could learn a lot too)

looks like the larger settings are beginning to come round to accepting us for the professionals we are and at the end of the day it can ONLY be beneficial for the child
