L J Picture mum and baby

Today I had a parent showing me how her little girl could hold a phone to her ear and say hiya. The child was sat on her mothers knee at the time. I offered to take a picture and mum said I could include it in her daughters Learning Journey.
Is there any reason why this pic of mother and child should not go into a learning journey.

This did get me thinking of how nice it would be to have pics like this in the journeys.

One of my mums offered to share wow moments via Facebook, it works really well, I've photos of their wedding, lo ringing me on a pretend phone and pictures lo has drawn at home.

So yes I would put your picture in lj.

What a lovely observation!

As they get older it is important that children are given opportunities to read through their LJs and contribute to them.

It will be great for the little one to see mum in her folder

One of my los mums gave me some photos of his naming day to put in his LJ. It was really lovely xx

It's a lovely idea.

Some of my mums are teachers so I don't see the children for 6 weeks over the summer - I send the lj's home with blank sheets for the parents to put some photos, notes etc about what they've been up to. It works really well and gives me some starting points for the autumn term.
