    Smile Starting up, help please!

    Hello, i have always been interested in childminding and now with having my own son aged 20 months i would like to look into it further.
    Can anyone give me information of the process etc?

    Hi, first you need to contact your L.A. to see what their procedures are. You will need to complete a childminding course, I done the Pacey Cache level 3 course, you will need to do a paediatric first aid course and get a health declaration signed by your doctor and DBS's for every member of your household 16 or over. You may have to pay for all this or if you're one of the lucky ones your L.A. may fund it. Hope this helps
