Business names
Hi there,
How many of you have a name for your childminding business? I'm thinking I'd really like one but I want it to be a good one that really suits me and my setting.
How did those of you with names for your businesses come up with the name?

I only decided to use a name for my setting when I started working with assistants...
We sat down together and looked at different logos and talked over different names and came up with Bumble Beez Childminding with the logo being a bumble bee on a flower!
I really like it and I feel it works well for us as we are always busy and spend a lot of time outside

Mine is Hector's House - I need to push the name further though and get a logo and website, Hector is my dog, so we have always joked that this is "Hector's House" after the children's tv programme from my childhood in the 70's!

I drew up a list of business names I liked. I then asked friends and family to vote on their favourite! I liked Little Rembrants as we do lots of craft but in the end decided against it as everyone agreed it sounded like an art club!

Mine is Little Bears Childcare and my 5 yo thought of this - my dad still, at the age of 26, calls me Claire Bear so this is where she got that from!

We are Mama Amidu,s as Amidu is my surname and my own children always call me mama. It seems to have worked well and really goes with our logo. X
