    Default Passports

Hi. I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the thread. Can Childminders counter sign a passport application?

I'm curious to read the document that stipulates this criterion for CM's?

Do you have a like you could share?

My childminder friend hasn't got a degree, so I wonder if her signature will be rejected.

Ive signed passport forms for friends. Was told by the office i couldnt to begin with. Then found out i could. I dont have a degree. They did however phone to check i was ofsted registered and asked me a little info about the people i signed the form for. And that was it.

I'd heard you can do it if you have a degree before too, but no idea why this would make you an acceptable person...

I must have signed about 20 over the last 5 years and have never once had a single phone call from the passport office.
