whenever i ask i am told i can't wish they would make their minds up
I was lead to believe you couldnt sign them if you are selfemployed..Might be wrong so dont shoot me
i signed one 4 weeks ago passport office phoned me to check i had a degree and was ofsted registered all was fine
I think you need to be VAT registered if you are self employed to able to do it
My childminder friend hasn't got a degree, so I wonder if her signature will be rejected.

Ive signed passport forms for friends. Was told by the office i couldnt to begin with. Then found out i could. I dont have a degree. They did however phone to check i was ofsted registered and asked me a little info about the people i signed the form for. And that was it.
I have to get my daughters done and rang the passport people this week and they said no we can't ,, very confusing isnt it!
I must have signed about 20 over the last 5 years and have never once had a single phone call from the passport office.
