    Default Ahh what to do

I currently rent from my dad and cbildmind from
There. He lives abroad but is coming back so I have to
Move. We can't afford to buy. What is the likelihood of finding a rented house that will let me childmind. I also have a dog to make it even more difficult and have my own baby on the way. Really could do without this right now.

There are plenty of childminders who live rented accomdation. When you are ringing tell them upfront that you are a cm, about your dog and your own baby on the way and then hopefully find you a house.

Would be nothing worse than finding somewhere and being told no
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door

I rent and also have a dog (and 2 cats and 4 rabbits) along with 2 young children of my own. On paper I sound like a really bad bet to rent a house to but I go and meet the landlord / agents first and once they see I am quite respectable and I then explain that as childminders we are regulated and inspected by Ofsted and Environmental Health and so we HAVE to keep the house clean and tidy then I have not had a problem. I also have inspection reports from previous properties which proves how nicely I keep my house, that helps.
It might not be as easy but it is perfectly possible if you go about it in the right way

My daughter has lived in 3 different rented houses and childminded from them all. She also has a dog.

oh hon, bad timing for you. I agree with the advice above though
if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got

Can't stay with my dad. I have younger half siblings so there would be eight of us in the house when mine comes along x
