    But if you start off a learning journal with an 'all about me' form, does the parent fill it and return it to you or do you just fill it in with your own observations?

    I do both, not much help am I? Just think I sometimes pick up things patents don't and vice versa.

    I send it home with parents to fill in before the lo starts

    I ask parents to complete it and then I fill in the blanks as I get to know the child better

    I fill it in from what parents have told me BUT I think in future I may just give it to parents to fill in, lighten the work load a little, lol!
