    Default Observations, is this right?

I am on with my 4th week on minding and therefore on with my observations just wanted to make sure i am tracking these correct and if not what else would they be.

My mindee has just turned one.

Played in the sand for the first time, picking the sand up and letting the sand run through his fingers - PSED KUW PD CD

He normally is my little shadow but he played alone in another room for five mins without following me PSED KUW

Mark making, managed to make a few marks but with frequant reminders not to eat the crayons CLL KUW CD

He has also said a few new words 'deddie' (Eddie my litte boy) 'dig dig' when playing in the sand and 'care' (me) CLL

Is this right or would you think it covers any other areas???

You can often make so many links that you would end up going round in circles.

It's much better to do like you have and just pick the main ones

It doesn't have to list ALL areas it covers or you could be there all day, as said just the main ones are best.

I however try to just be possitive in observations (unless absolutly nessesery) so wouldn'tt have put about shadowing or trying to eat crayons
