inspections

Hi, Joanne here from Scotland, i have been reading a few posts regarding inspections etc & was wondering, do ofsted only inspect you every 3yrs?

We get inspected every year with the care commission! I dont mind inspections though, it's just a huge difference from 1 part of the uk to another.

Yip, thats right.

Unfortunatley for us its yearly.

But i did read somewhere that Ofsted were thinking about yearly inspections as well.

i do agree with the yearly inspections as so much can change in the space of a year etc.

Have you had word on your grading inspection yet? I had mine last thursday & still waiting for my result!

Would have prefered to have got at the time, but no news is good news!

Yes it's 3 yearly in England... which is quite enough for me!

I had heard that once the CC got to grips with our gradings that things may change re annual inspections, i.e. if you get a 6 you won't be inspected as often. However as with all of this gradings stuff it could just be another rumour.

Yeah, & there's been plenty of them!

I'v just recently had new grading inspection & didnt think it was much different to the older style, just more evidence & parental involvement
