    Question Accreditation question

I was asked today by a parent when i was going to start Minding... i said hopefully this year, as i have given up with possible dates.
She also asked if her child started with me would she be able to get her free spaces as he is over 3 years.

Can parents get free spaces that the government pay ( or someone pays) i know pre schools do it but am not sure about childminders.

It differs from one LA to another, but you would need some experience behind you before you could apply.

As already said, it does differ around the country but generally i think you have to have a level 3, minimum of x years experience, certain ofsted gradings and be on an approved network.
