    how can i stop the sun coming through the conservatory and keep it cool? how do you lot doit? I have hooks on my ceiling and thinking about putting sheets across

    Blinds? My parents have one and blinds keep it cool in the summer and warmer in the winter.

    I use a sun umbrella inside and also hook up a ELC parachute from the windows to give extra shade .......we can't afford blinds yet .......but these work well

    I bought a garden sail it was only £28 and hooked that in the conservatory roof, looks nice and gives good shade

    I got some stick on hooks and "cafe rods" from Wilkinsons, cheap voile curtains from Ikea and all sorted. Looks good too.

    when you have the money to purchase the blinds you can claim for them through tax
