The reason why i asked is coz ive had a 2nd spot check from Ofsted in 4 months. I wanted to know if i could use that to find out who keeps making the complaints about me. I think its the co-minder that i worked with.

I wouldn't have thought you could use the act, like Rascals says you can look at doctors stuff etc. but doubt you could know who's made a complaint. It's also used for government stuff which is allowed out for public use after x number of years, you often hear things on the news that are released under the act about war/the royal family etc. years later.

Shame that someone is being like that, jealousy perhaps? It often happens I'm afraid

I'm so sorry this is happening to you Jo - it's awful having one malicious complaint, but 2! I really feel for you...

When one was made against me, I knew immediately who it was by the questions they were asking - it could only have been one person...

Be strong and fight it... if you know you are in the right, Ofsted will see that too xx

How awful tht you have suspicions of someone you work wth so closely! Have you asked this person? I think if I had to worry about malicious complaints, I'd be breaking off that partnership!
Why is "phonics" not spelled the way it sounds?

    That is awful Jo

Ofsted must realise that someone is doing this on purpose if its the second time?

    Hope you are ok

The partnerships ended in Oct 07 thats why i think shes doing it, coz she thought she would work with me and start earning £200 straight away. i have not seen or heard from her since then.

People always get nasty where money is concerned. It's a real shame.

I doubt you could use this to find out who has been stirring up trouble for you. My inspector said vitually all complaints are anon. And even if they think they are malicious they have a duty of care to follow up every one.

Have been there, so I know how annoying it is.
