    Default variations

sorry if I am repeating another thread, but i have emailed ofsted today to ask 4 a variation 4 half an hour after school. I have had an enquiry for a 1 year old that will take me over my numbers for half and hour a night. I have 6 under 8 and 1 turns 8 after christmas ( hope that makes sense) are they likely to say no then, really hope not cos i could do with the cash and i will be over for half an hour - hope they say yes - worried now

Ofsted normally consider variations to cater for siblings or allow continuity of care - say if shift patterns or working hours have changed for a parent rather than to allow new business. However you never know and there can be so many factors like how long you have minded or how old the other children are, what you are doing during the half hour overlap etc etc.

Hopefully they will give the go ahead for you.
I'm not paranoid - the world IS out to get me!
