just had a lady ring about childcare i was expecting someone else to call which i was getting my stroppy head on as this other person has been ringing nonstop for a few weeks and i was gonna give em a telling lol anyway i pick up phone shouting YES then she said is thatthe childminder so had to change quick to my nice voice lol anyway i bumbled my way right though the call saying all the wrtong things and getting my words mixed up (not drunk honest)
said she will ring back after ringng round a few more so dont think i will be hearing back
teach me to pick up the phone and speak poilt;y next time lol

Lol I always sound like a bumbling idiot on the phone, its a miracle I have any visits, I always say the wrong things and ask the wrong questions.

Invest in caller ID saved me from many embaressing calls and great at avoiding mrs ofsted too!

I would dial 1471 and ring her back tomorrow and explain about your crank caller and get her round for a coffee

I would try not to worry too much- we all think we make a hash of things at times. I wouldn't be surprised if she did phone back. Don't be too harsh on yourself.
