    Default Sports day yesterday

I had such a fab day.

It was my daughters, my 5 year old mindee and my 3 year olds sports day, all one after another.

I was baking hot and am very red today, luckily I had no little ones

The parents were really happy that I stayed to watch their ones

It made me realise how lucky we are to be able to attend these things

(and i got some great pics for my working in partnership file)

You are lucky to be able to watch. My mindee has her sports day at nursery today. Its really a fundraiser but no parents allowed - just their money

Luckily our school had the sense to cancel our sports day yesterday.

It was to be from 12:30 til 3pm and would have resulted in lots of the 260children with heat stroke too. We were told earlier in the week, that theres no shade and they cant administer suncream - (so if you arent going your child will be in the sun for 2 and half hours!)
I think a lot of parents complained.

Its now on Monday afternoon. And luckily, if not too hot or wet, I can take mindees with me. Another perk of the job eh?!
