mindee won't eat fruit

i have had a new afterschoolie start today who says he doesn't eat fruit. Now i can sympathise with this as neither to do i BUT i realise this isn't the best thing to be supporting! his mum isn't that bothered but the thing is i wanted to make snack mats with my kids with pictures of the fruit they like on them (helps me to remember what to give them!) but his won't have anything on it!!

what should i do?

Offer breadsticks and different types of cheese / toast / waffles etc.

You can lead a horse to water, as the old saying goes, but you can't make it drink ...

does he eat veg? what about veg sticks instead?

I would let him choose what he wants on his mat at least you will know its his and you never know if he sees the others eating fruit he might want some.
