Penpal request

hi everyone,

i'm looking for someone who may be interested in being penpals?

some nice person (sorry can't remember who it was) organised it all and unfortunately my penpal only wrote once and we haven't heard anything from them again.

would anyone be interested?

I just think it would be nice for the children to receive letters etc and to be able to share ideas with eachother.

Hi, i also like that idea a lot. As mrst333 say's it would be great for the kids.
I struggle to find thing's for the after schooler's to do as i have to get tea on the minute we get in. So it would be great to have them writing letter's and for them to be looking forward to receiving them.

I think it was Lorri that organised it and i'm ashamed to say i didn't do much as Caroline was in hospital etc at the time and then i have forgotten about it till now!

Monkey - i think my penpal was busy too and having a few probs so just thought i would ask if anyone else wanted to. i got my older ones to do some pictures ages ago and they still ask me when we will be sending them so wanted to sort something out.

We all sent letters and pics to the children with information about where we lived etc

I am afraid I have not done it for ages either but the kids really enjoy it so I will do it again now i have had this reminder

Yes get parents to sign a permission form first. I'm sure Lorri posted a copy of her form when she first organised this. I will have a look and see if I can find it.

I'm interested in this too, I have no access to the link emler posted though as its restricted access.

I have children ranging from 3 to 11 years, this would be a wonderful additions to their after school activities.

echnically haven't got any mindees to speak of yet..1 definate yes but no contracts signed and another in the pipeline!! 2 5 yr old boys so they prob like to.
