Safeguarding children leaflet

Sorry cant remember who posted the link/reminder. But somebody very kindly bought it to our attention that there was a new version of the safeguarding children leaflet out dated 05/08, so i called ncma and ordered one.

It turned up today - only it was version 11/06, the old one. So i rang ncma to ask about this to be told that although they were on the website they were not available in print at the moment and to ring back in a couple of weeks so i now have 2 copies of the old one!!!

Yep, mine arrived today and am in exactly same boat as you! Guess I'll be ordering another in about 3 or 4 weeks!

Why send the old ones out when new ones will be out in a couple of weeks? You'd think that they'd back the orders up wouldn't you and wait!

that would be the logical answer! oh well will see what happens in a few weeks, the demand will probably be so great we will be put on a waiting list!!

What is the point of having a new version if you cant get hold of it ? Mad
