Oh my goodness, I'm back in one of my favourite places!!!!

I got a new computer a while back and so had to put in all of my passwords for everything again, and of course I couldn't remember most of them. For some reason, there was a strange technical issue which meant I just couldn't get back on the forum. I had given up, but tried again to contact admin out of the blue the other day and Richard managed to sort it out straight away for me. Thank you so much admin!

Anyway, I have been logging in and reading the posts. I've missed you all.

Our little dog is as nutty as ever but we wouldn't have him any other way, I can't believe he is already 3!

Awww, my dog is three too!

He's a bit more sensible these days. Still gets too excited when we have visitors - which does make me think is one more thing to fret about when Ofsted come to visit!

It's sooooo quiet here. I know there are alot less childminders these days, but I don't know where they all are! Facebook etc I guess. I'm not on Facebook as myself, just a business, and I can't join any childminder pages as a business which seems a tad odd! But hey! It is what it is!

How are you doing work wise? Are you busy and having lots of fun? All good here; busy but have had a couple of mindees leave recently and lots of interest in their spaces, but radio silence when I ask if they actually want to visit or commit to space.

To be honest Loocyloo, I think even the facebook childminder page seems quieter than it once was.

I'm doing great thanks. I've almost been back childminding for three years now, having had a few years break from it. I'm loving it and so glad I came back. I'm full and have a few little siblings waiting in the wings for when the older ones start school/pre-school in September, so hopefully I'll be able to sustain this business for the next few years at least. Hope you get your spaces filled soon loocyloo. I find it really deflating when people don't get back to me.

Hello Maza! It's good to see you back

Somehow I managed to log myself out last week and couldn't get logged back in. I saw that you were back online and thought typical, just as you get back on, I'm kicked off Luckily I've managed to get on on my laptop, though my iPad is still playing up.

I'm still really busy with work. I've got a few leaving in September but their spaces have been filled for a while. There's a real shortage of childminders in my area and I'm turning work away weekly. I've even had enquiries for next year when parents are hoping they'll be able to use the new funding for 2 year olds. It's crazy.
