    Default Hand, foot and mouth

I have a little one who I sent home early on Friday as he was generally unwell. Turns out it was hand foot and mouth.

The other child who was here on that day has a pregnant mum (final trimester) - should I let her know?

Also, nhs website says the children can come back once they are well, even though they may still have blisters. Normally, I would be happy to go with that, but I have two pregnant mums who have children here on the same days as the infected child - any advice? Or do you know where/who I could go to for more specific advice?

There does seem to be a lot it about at the moment, one of my little ones had it and chose to keep them off as not to spread it but I do follow the Public health guidance which like you say says they don't have to stay home. I am not sure if its one thats a particular risk to pregnancy.
