Plesae pray for my puppy

My darling puppy was attacked this afternoon by a huge dog.

We have had Cookie for just under two weeks and he was on his second ever walk today. Out of nowhere a dog (lurcher, we think) grabbed him. DD (11) had him on the lead and she thought the dog might be going for her, so it was all very traumatic. DH was on them like a flash and managed to wrestle the other dog off him.

We took Cookie straight to the vets and he has been admitted to hospital. He has two broken ribs and a perforated lung. We have to call at 11pm for an update and he is seeing the specialist tomorrow.

We are all so upset.

We went to the vets at 8am but he has to stay in and have more x-rays on his lungs. We have to go back at 6.30pm for the results.

We are so, so sad.
