    Default Exclusion due to Sickness

    Hello

This is my first post. I am looking after a little girl. Today I was told that her brother contracted
chickenpox (had his first spots appearing today at pre-school).

His little sister will be with me Wednesday and Thursday. I was wondering how you handle it, do
I need to exclude her even she hasn't had any signes of chickenpox yet or will I exclude her, when
    she show signes of it?

I looked after her today and she was all fine and happy.

    Looking forward to your replays.

    Many thanks!

No, you can not exclude for what a child might get. She might not get it at all, she might not come out in spots for weeks! Nothing you can do- just promote good hygiene as usual.
If she comes out in the spots or feeling unwell then you can exclude.
NHS website can advise on chicken pox signs, symptoms and treatment etc.
