    Default food hygeine certificate

hello, I am a recently new childminder. I had the environmental health from my local council come to my home when I first registered and everything was fine there...I am abit confused though, weather or not I have to do a food hygiene certificate aswell? I don't seem to be getting any straight answers when I ask my tutors...please can someone help me, I live in Lancashire. Thank you.

SOME require us to do food hygiene and some don't - the only way you can find out is check with your local officer.

It's good practice to do a course - not a requirement of the Eyfs - and you should be using Safer food Better Business for childminders
