    Default building work

    Hi everyone!
I have been waiting for a window on the third floor of my house to be fixed for over a year now and have finally been told it will be happening at some point over the next two weeks.
Although the work is very minor and will be done in a day scaffolding will need to be put up because of the height. However this is all at the back of the house and the children won't have any access.
I will of course be caring out a full risk assessment, but do you think I need to inform ofsted?
    Thank you!

I think you need to inform them of alterations to the childminding premises, but if the window is already there and just needs fixing just ra and record visitors as per your visitors policy

I wouldn't as this isn't building works it is a repair and you will ensure the safety of the children and you already have a note in your diary that it is happening I would just inform all your parents verbally and that's it.
