    Default Back to work advice

I'm going back to work in September after being off for 4 months.
I'm trying to decide what to do about paperwork. All my same children are coming back .. 3 will still be on EYFS
Whilst I've been off they have all been with other childminders and the parents have all confirmed paperwork hasn't been done so I'm trying to decide whether to observe the first week back to see progress, stages etc and then carry on tracking and planning for them etc or to completely start my files again, bare in mind new EYFS
    What does everyone think!?
I feel the obs and then back to original file would be best but not sure.

Depending on the ages of the children, I'd just use my 'end points' from 4 months ago as starting points and make sure to do lots of observations in the first few weeks to catch up with where the children are now. Although if they needed re-settling for any reason, that would be my priority, not paperwork.

I would observe for a week or two and then do a summative or tracker report and carry on...
