I have a 14 month old and when she hears the word garden starts to do round and round the garden on her hand...so cute! Which area of learning would you put this in?

CL Understanding - Responds to different things said?

Yes, it is CL.

We are not trying to match what children to to the statements in DM, they are only suggestions of what a child might do. So what you observed is clearly about listening and understanding so that is CL.
