Default is it a boy thing?

Lo & my dd are the same age 23 months

It seems whatever I try to do with them he gets bored after 5 mins if that!

I have just bought them both in a tray with different size containers, dry pasta & a spoon, showed them how to transfer
DD is happily tipping & spooning pasta between pots
Lo is tipping it all over the floor & trying to eat it!!

Nope not a boy thing, just every child is different and brought up different. All my 3 will happily play with activities set up ( 2 boys 1 girl) my minded LO (girl) almost seems like she doesn't know how to play if an adult is not glued to her side !

I have several of this age. 1 lo a girl won't choose to play with anything unless another child takes it out. I set things up and another lo a boy stands and stares leaving it alone. One day had a major tantrum because of toys set out. The girl only ever wants to run up and down hall getting boy to do it as well. They are all so different.

I don't think it is a boy thing, it is just a personality thing!
