    Question continuity of care

    hi

how dos this work??not done this before....

I currently have a child one day a week, mum has been looking for a new job and has found one, but the days she wants is on the days I am full (though this will be only so until July, when a child Is due to leave). So because it is not new business, can I say yes to her. will only be for may, june, july and then back into spaces. I would have a 4 year old, 17 month old, my child (4 years at preschool) and then if can this child (13 months), all for varying times during the day, so with couple hours with all of them.

if this is possible what do I need to do- tell ofsted? risk asses? ??

hope this is poss, as is only temp, and don't want to lose her.

    tia

If child is already in your care then a parent's change of days is acceptable.

You do not need to tell Ofsted. Risk assess and inform other parents. Get them to sign that they have seen the risk assessment.

    This document is very helpful
