    Default Ratio reassurance!

    Hi everyone,

Apologies for raising a ratio question in advance my little brain is having a malfunction. ; )
I have three of my own children 10,7 and 3 am I right that little lady age 10 is not in my numbers therefore I can look after 4 children with only one under 12 months?
For example would ages 7+3+3+15months +10months be ok?

You can care for 6 children under 8 years ,of which no more than 3 can be in early years, and no more than one of those three under 1 year. These ratios include your own children.

So you have spaces for 2 children age 5-7 and 2 children under 5. So the example you gave you would be over numbers in the early years by 1 child so you would not be able to do it.
