    Default advise needed please.

    Hi all happy new year.

It will be my sons birthday on the 24 the of this month and I have just realised I will be minding an over 8 (after schoolie ) that day. I will be taking then bowling and out for food as this is what y son has decided he wanted to do. My question is I will obviously need to pay for my mindee but can I put it through my books as a business expense.trip etc

You can put the cost of the mindee through your accounts but not your son's party.

Happy new year! I would say so as you would put any trips out as an expense and this is a trip out.

Yep, I'd put mindees bowling costs, food, drinks etc through as expenses as you wouldn't be taking him if he wasn't in that day as a minding charge xx
