How do i check on DBS application?

Hiya,
I submitted my DBS about 4+ weeks ago.

But I've not heard from anyone about it.

Is there anyone i can call to check the progress?

There's and online tracking system on the dbs website. I've been waiting 6 weeks now for mine and getting a little inpatient. They did all the checks the same day it arrived but it has been sitting at the police station for 6 weeks.

My DBS is the same, been weeks on the last step. Am worried the people that were interested will be long gone by the time it comes back!

My patients is wearing thin also, as when i checked on mine it was 'stuck' on the police check!
I wonder why that bit takes so long?

Hope we all have our certificates soon. :-)
