I was wondering about a booster seat for a 10 year old?

Do you mean should they use one this is what the law says

The law requires all children travelling in cars to use the correct child restraint until they are either 135 cm in height or the age of 12 (which ever they reach first) . After this they must use an adult seat belt.

There is talk of banning seat only booster seats. In a crash no matter how well fitted they can slide out from under the child. High backed ones much safer.
