    Default Mum fell asleep!

Had a mum text today to say she would be early as she wasn't feeling well. (in early stages of pregnancy). Mindees were having tea when she arrived and she sat in the lounge to wait. I went in 2 mins later to see if she wanted a drink and she was fast asleep! Stayed there for an hour while the LO watched a DVD. She is like one of the family though and has been here for almost 10 years now, and I just didn't have the heart to wake her

She said she felt dizzy and I wouldn't have wanted her to drive home like that anyway.

Ah bless her, I had a mum that fell asleep at home the other week and was 1 hr 20 mins late for pick up. I had to take my son to his swimming lesson at 6pm while I waited. Was just relieved that she was ok, was getting very worried!! x

I fell asleep in the sitting room once when pregnant with dd3, and when I woke up both other dds (just under 2 and 4) had covered themselves, teddy bears, fabric sofas with sudocreme! Prob only konked out for about 10 mins! Do you know how hard that stuff is to get off things?!!

By eck, you don't get that at a nursery do you?

I bet she felt a world of good from her power nap.

Did you charge her extra for minding another 2 for an hour you should put it on her bill - just for a joke: Extra care for mum and baby x 1 hour

It's nice that she was able to find comfort at your home, having a homely safe place is just what childminders do.
