    Default Paypal

Has anyone had bad experiences ? Some businesses won't trust them.

We're trying to pay for a French chalet and the owners won't let us use PayPal.
The bank says it charges £50 for a money transfer!
Any ideas how I can pay a French business?

I once had to pay money to a place in Northern Cyprus. I took their bank details and went into the bank and did it. I think there was a small charge, not much. I don't know of any other way but someone else may do.

I'd use credit card - ones like santander don't charge for transfers abroad - and you are insured x

I always do a bank transfer straight into their account. Hsbc charge £9 which is not bad
