We live in a flat and are fairly limited for space, I have been using the lounge as the main space for childminding- with a few bits and bobs out on the landing/hallway.
I thought why not utilise the space a bit more and have a more "dedicated" play area away from our tv, computers, sofas which take up most of the available space in the lounge. Now this way there is a space just for the children but they are still free to take things into the lounge to play and have more space when they do for the train track, tent and tunnels, ball pool etc as it isn't so cluttered.

This is it after:

What do you think? Are there any reasons why people (thinking of Ofsted and parents) might not like the idea of using the area? Does it look too cluttered now?
The door which is blocked off in the background goes to my son's bedroom and is always a mess so it is kept shut and the little kitchen set can easily be moved at the end of the day.

I've not shown hubby yet so wonder what he will think but it gives him his lounge back a bit more when he comes home from work, he doesn't have to be surrounded by toys in there, just walk past them on the way to bed at night lol!
